Dual Element Transducers

Single Element Contact Transducers
Single Element Contact Transducers are the common 0° transducers and are ideal for inspecting large, simple geometry materials. They are are longitudinal wave transducers that are designed to be used in direct contact with the part or component being inspected.

Large single element transducers designed for use with angle beam wedges for a powerful flaw detection solution.

STD Shear Wave Dual Transducers
Shear Wave Dual Transducers are dual element transducers with high near surface resolution, ideal for detecting small, near surface cracks and weld inspection.

Mini Angle Beam Potted Transducers
Mini Angle Beam Potted Transducers are designed with durable cast housing and are ideal for inspecting general weld, tubes, pipes and smaller objects.

Shear Wave Quick Change Transducers
Shear Wave Quick Change Transducers are single element transducers with a threaded tip allowing angle beam wedges to be changed with minimum delay.

Mini Angle Beam Potted - Mini Transducers
Mini Angle Beam Potted - Mini Transducers are single element, designed with stainless steel housing for durability. Available in a variety of fixed angles, including 45°, 60° or 70°, to produce the required shear waves. These transducers are used in conjunction with the ‘Trigonometry’ function of the gauge.

Immersion Transducers
Dakota's Immersion Transducers have been designed for immersion tank or bubbler system inspections. Stainless steel housing with UHF connector. Three different lens configurations are available – Flat, Spherical focus and Cylindrical focus.

Transducer Wedges
The transducer wedges increase the versatility of the transducer enabling it to become an angle transducer of 45°, 60° or 70°. This allows the transducer to produce shear waves and can be used with the 'Trigonometry' function of the gauge.

Dakota Bolt Tension Monitor Transducers
Dakota offer a full range of Bolt Tension Monitor Transducers to ultrasonically measure the actual elongation produced by tightening a threaded fastener.

Calibration Blocks
Dakota NDT offer a comprehensive range of Calibration Blocks to suit a wide range of applications and standards. Calibration blocks are available as a set or individually, allowing users to select the most appropriate thickness for their application. Dakota NDT calibration standards are manufactured from 4340 steel to a tolerance of ±1% of the nominal thickness and are supplied complete with calibration certificates.

Ultrasonic Couplant
The Dakota Ultrasonic Couplant is a viscous gel that has been designed to work on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. The temperature range for regular couplant is -15 to 104°C (5 to 220°F). The Elcometer high temperature gel has a range of up to 398°C (750°F) for use with high temperature transducers.
